The Al Batinah team won the second edition of the Oman Wheelchair Basketball Championship, which was organized by the Oman Paralympic Committee during the period from 9-12/12/2018, after its exciting victory over Al Buraimi team with a score of 24/36, while Al Dakhiliyah team achieved third place in a ceremony The coronation, which was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Salim bin Muslim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for Administrative Development Affairs, was the final match and in the presence of Khalifa bin Saif Al Essaei, Director General of Sports Activity at the Ministry of Sports Affairs, and in the presence of committee members, at the main hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.
After the final match, the sponsor of the ceremony crowned the winners, where the Al Batinah team won the championship cup and gold medals, the Al Buraimi team won the silver medals and the second place award, and the Al Buraimi team won the third place award and bronze medals. Points, and the player Fawzi bin Salem Al-Habashi from Al Buraimi team won the award for the best player.
