The sixth session of Gulf women’s sports

Within the framework of the ongoing participation of the Omani Paralympic Committee and the support of Gulf women’s sports, the Committee participated in the sixth session of Gulf women’s sports hosted by the State of Kuwait during the period 20-30 February 2019

The committee participated in a delegation headed by Rahma bint Salem Al-Hajari, a member of the Omani Paralympic Committee, and a technical cadre of players Ghalia Al-Jabriya, Sheikha Al-Hamadiya, Raya Al-Yabriya, Sarah Al-Anbouri, Fadia Al-Manjieh, Iman Al-Shamsieh, assistant coach Asaad Muhammad Al-Qarni and physiotherapist Hani bin Salem Al-Shamakhi.

The participants won (8) silver and bronze medals, according to the following: The player Ghalia bint Masoud Al-Jabriya won silver in the shot put, silver in javelin throw and discus, while the player Sarah bint Ibrahim Al-Anbouri won silver in the shot put and bronze in javelin throw, while the player Raya Bint Khamis, the Hebrew, got Bronze by discus and javelin throw, and the player Iman Bint Taysir bin Sarboukh won bronze in the shot put and javelin throw.
